Andrew Barrett
Foot Health Practitioner
RCPoD no. 35841
HCPC no. CH34891
Andrew brings a slightly different background to the Supafoot team, having spent 15 years working in the footwear industry before moving into foot health.
His previous career gave him a real understanding of footwear, fit and how what we wear can influence comfort and movement. This has developed into a growing interest in biomechanics and orthotic therapy, including the moulding and manufacture of custom orthotics.
Andrew currently provides treatment for a wide range of skin and nail concerns and routine foot care, including painful corns and callus, thickened or difficult nails and general foot health problems. He also treats verrucae using options including SWIFT microwave therapy and Verrutop.
Andrew is passionate about helping people stay active and continue doing the things they enjoy. As someone who loves sport and the outdoors himself, he understands just how frustrating it can be when foot pain or injury starts getting in the way.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find Andrew doing something active. He’s a keen skier and snowboarder and also enjoys running, cycling and paddle boarding.
Andrew takes a friendly and collaborative approach to care, working with each patient to understand what they want to achieve and helping them find a practical route towards healthier, more comfortable feet.
