Skin & nail care
This is a huge part of what we do as podiatrists. We are specialists in treating skin and nail conditions and, if possible, offer you a treatment plan to stop these painful conditions from recurring. This includes a huge variety of things such as corns, callus, verrucas, fungal nails, split heels, etc. Your initial consultation will include a full foot health check including nerve testing, pulse testing and whichever relevant podiatry treatment you need and a plan moving forwards.
We aim to educate you as much as possible so you feel empowered to keep your condition under control as much as possible by yourself. But in circumstances where a podiatrist is needed, we are always here to help.
FAQs
Will my foot problem come back after treatment?
Some skin and nail problems can return, particularly if the cause is still present. We’ll look at what may be causing your problem and give you advice and a treatment plan to help reduce the chance of it coming back.
Can you treat my problem during my first appointment?
Your initial appointment includes relevant podiatry treatment, so you can often leave with your feet feeling more comfortable as well as having a clear plan for managing the problem.
How long does my first appointment last?
We allow up to 40 minutes for your first skin and nail appointment, allowing the podiatrist enough time to take your medical history, perform a full foot health check and begin your treatment.
