Custom orthotics
Once you’ve been assessed by one of our podiatrists, we will be able to prescribe an individual treatment plan including a range of exercises, stretches and manufacture some insoles (orthotic devices) which you can place in your shoes to correct the particular issue identified. The purpose of an orthotic is to help correct a biomechanical issue, to give your feet the extra support that they need in the right places! The type and style of orthotic depends on an individual’s needs.
It can be good practice to try a simple handmade or ‘chair side’ orthotic to enable the podiatrist to ‘fine tune’ the correction if you haven’t tried any already.
Once a perfect prescription has been identified, more permanent orthotics can be manufactured – this might be Phits 3D printed or ones created in-house with our new SIDAS machine. These types of orthotics cost significantly more, however they have a prolonged duration along with a manufacturer’s guarantee.

FAQs
How much do orthotics cost?
Orthotics from Supafoot can range anywhere from £30.00 for a basic chairside orthotic, to £380.00 for those custom orthotics that are designed specifically for your feet.
Will orthotics fit in my shoes?
Your orthotics will be able to fit into a wide variety of shoes. It’s recommended to bring in a variety of shoes for your orthotic fitting to check, but it might be recommended to buy some new shoes to support this new orthotic.
