Verrucas

A verruca is a type of wart that appears on the sole of the foot, caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). It often looks like a small, rough patch of skin and may have tiny black dots (which are small blood vessels). Because verrucas grow on weight-bearing areas, such as the heel or ball of the foot, they can be painful, especially when walking or standing.

Verrucas are contagious and can spread through direct contact or shared surfaces like swimming pools and changing rooms. Treatment options at Supafoot include Verrutop, SWIFT Microwave Therapy, K-Laser and Needling.
