Tel No: 01242 321242

Contact me

Emma is the Clinical Director based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Emma graduated with a First Class honours degree from the Birmingham School of Podiatry in July 2013 and in the autumn of 2018 Emma was accepted to be a member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow.

Emma’s particular interests revolve around sports injuries and musculoskeletal podiatry and has worked with many of the running clubs in town, Cheltenham Town Football Club, Gloucester Rugby, Worcester Warriors,British Ultimate Frisbee and has a strong referral network in Gloucestershire with physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons.

“While I was training for the Cheltenham half in 2018 I injured my knee and almost had to pull out (in fact, I had to walk the last 3 miles) so I totally understand the frustration surrounding injuries and facing a race deadline or goal.  I am happy to talk through your frustrations and pain points and then we can work together to find a solution if you have a lower limb injury.”

Outside of work, Emma loves to go to the Opera, loves mountain biking, is a keen dog walker.

Name: Catherine Price

Role:  Clinical Director (Birmingham) and Podiatrist

Tel No: 0121 770 3040

Contact me

Catherine is the Clinical Director and one of our Podiatrists at the Birmingham branch.

Catherine qualified from Aston University in 2006 with a 2:1 in Podiatry. She also has a background in nursing and a degree in Human Biology (also from Aston University).

As well as being dedicated to her clinics, she is a keen bridge student, enjoys flower arranging and gardening, enjoys her walks with Poppy, her Labrador and is a devoted mother and grandmother.

“I simply love my job. Many of my patients have been coming to me for such a long time, they are almost friends to me. It’s a pleasure to meet them every 8 weeks not only to find out how they are, but to help them with their foot pain. My main goal is to educate my patients about how they can help themselves as much as possible, to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle, as well as maintain healthy feet. I really enjoy the journey you go through with patients. From their first appointment where their pain and problems had gone untreated for years in some cases, to the present day where they are happy and able to carry out activities they would never have dreamed of being able to do without my help and intervention. It really is a privilege to play that part.”

Name: Sam Chidwick

Role: Podiatrist (Sports specialist)

Tel No: 01242 321242

Contact me

Sam joined our team in 2017. He currently works three days a week in Cheltenham and one day in Birmingham.

Along with being an excellent Podiatrist, Sam brings a wealth of experience in sports injuries, personal training, running and martial arts coaching.

“I studied Podiatry at the University of Southampton from 2005-2008 and have been working in the profession since then in both the NHS and private sectors. I completed a Masters Degree 2015 in Musculoskeletal Studies of the Lower Limb which culminated in a dissertation and research on running injuries and prevention for which I received a distinction.

I am passionate about all areas of Podiatry, however I have focused much of my training on musculoskeletal and sports podiatry, as well as foot orthotic therapy, exercise therapy and injury prevention and I have had the pleasure of working with many fantastic clients and exceptional individuals throughout my career.

As an accomplished runner and martial artist (Karate black belt and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt) I have had my fair share of injuries, from heel pain and “shin splints” to a dislocated shoulder, broken toes and torn tendons. I know how frustrating injury is and the importance of finding good medical care. This drives me to want to be the best podiatrist I can be for my patients to help them keep active and on their feet.

I am also a keen surfer and paddle boarder and unfortunately developed an ingrowing toenail from tight wetsuit boots in 2019 which Emma (Supafoot’s owner) kindly operated on in 2020, a procedure we all perform a lot here at Supafoot, and my nail has never felt better.

Over the last 17 years, she has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of podiatry and is passionate with interacting with her clients providing them with the upmost confidence whilst carrying out their treatments.

“I thoroughly enjoy my job. The patient you meet and the conditions they have are so varied that every day is different. There is a real problem-solving element to the role as you work through the symptoms and the diagnostic process.

What I also enjoy about my job is the interaction with patients and building that rapport and seeing them every 6 to 8 weeks. I get such job satisfaction when patients I have been working with tell me they are pain free.

My goal is to educate patients about how to maintain healthy feet. Over the years I have completed various courses focusing on providing optimal care to clients. I am currently training in areas of musculoskeletal podiatry which I am keen to learn and put into practice.”

Outside of work in her free time, Sabreena enjoys keeping fit and healthy, also spending time trying different activities with her girls such as swimming, badminton, and boxing.  We read lots of different books, watch movies, learn languages and try new recipes together as a family.”
