Catherine Price

Catherine is the Clinical Director and one of our Podiatrists at the Birmingham branch.

Catherine qualified from Aston University in 2006 with a 2:1 in Podiatry. She also has a background in nursing and a degree in Human Biology (also from Aston University)..

As well as being dedicated to her clinics, she is a keen bridge student, enjoys flower arranging and gardening, enjoys her walks with Poppy, her Labrador and is a devoted mother and grandmother..

“I simply love my job. Many of my patients have been coming to me for such a long time, they are almost friends to me. It’s a pleasure to meet them every 8 weeks not only to find out how they are, but to help them with their foot pain. My main goal is to educate my patients about how they can help themselves as much as possible, to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle, as well as maintain healthy feet. I really enjoy the journey you go through with patients. From their first appointment where their pain and problems had gone untreated for years in some cases, to the present day where they are happy and able to carry out activities they would never have dreamed of being able to do without my help and intervention. It really is a privilege to play that part.”.

Sabreena Hussain

Podiatrist

Sabreena qualified from the Birmingham School of podiatry in 2002 gaining a BSc Honours degree in Podiatry. She is also a member of the College of Podiatry and is HCPC Registered. Since qualifying, Sabreena has been working within the private sector for the last 17 years.

Over the last 17 years, she has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of podiatry and is passionate with interacting with her clients providing them with the upmost confidence whilst carrying out their treatments.

“I thoroughly enjoy my job. The patient you meet and the conditions they have are so varied that every day is different. There is a real problem-solving element to the role as you work through the symptoms and the diagnostic process.

What I also enjoy about my job is the interaction with patients and building that rapport and seeing them every 6 to 8 weeks. I get such job satisfaction when patients I have been working with tell me they are pain free.

My goal is to educate patients about how to maintain healthy feet. Over the years I have completed various courses focusing on providing optimal care to clients. I am currently training in areas of musculoskeletal podiatry which I am keen to learn and put into practice.”

Outside of work in her free time, Sabreena enjoys keeping fit and healthy, also spending time trying different activities with her girls such as swimming, badminton, and boxing. We read lots of different books, watch movies, learn languages and try new recipes together as a family.”
